A Toll accountant was wrongfully imprisoned in Dubai based on evidence provided to authorities by Toll.
The Pakistani accountant, whose name hasn't been revealed publicly, was accused of fraud that involved siphoning off about $2.5 million from Toll to a shell company, according to sources. An EY investigation commissioned by Toll established that he wasn't involved in the fraud.
