SEC intensifies review of Telsa in wake of Elon Musk's tweet
New York/San Francisco | The Tesla board of directors plans to meet with financial advisers next week to explore Elon Musk's proposal to take the company private, CNBC reported Friday (AEST). The board was expected to ask Mr Musk to recuse himself from the talks.
The news comes two days after Tesla's CEO announced via Twitter that he was considering taking the company private at $US420 ($570) per share and said he had secured the funding to do it.
