Qantas and the Transport Workers Union are heading back to court to thrash out a deal to compensate 1820 airport workers the High Court ruled the airline illegally sacked during the pandemic.

Beginning on Monday, the Federal Court will set out to determine different levels of compensation by hearing three test cases representative of three separate worker cohorts. Two weeks has been set aside.
