Qantas’ Hudson takes the chance to shed some Joyce baggage
Vanessa Hudson has finally accepted reality by making a deal with the competition watchdog over ghost flights. She’s determined to leave behind the damage in recent years to the airline’s reputation.

Now that it has accepted reality, chief executive Vanessa Hudson can call the agreement “another important step forward in restoring confidence in the national carrier”.
