Qantas says a person purporting to hold its customers’ data has made contact, one week after its systems were infiltrated.
The airline declined to say whether it had been asked to pay a ransom. It has previously confirmed that frequent flyer numbers, emails and names of as many as 6 million Qantas customers were potentially stolen.
