The boss of vehicle leasing company SG Fleet says about one third of all the new car deals being written in the group’s United Kingdom business are for electric vehicles, with the appetite from corporate players accelerating.

Robbie Blau, chief executive of the group which has about 270,000 vehicles under management across its operations, said the comparable number of electric vehicle leasing deals in Australia sits at between 1 and 2 per cent.
