Luxury car market stirring as travel spend diverted
With overseas travel banned, the luxury car market shows increasing strength as affluent buyers use spare funds to upgrade vehicles in a trend that ASX-listed Autosports Group expects will persist this financial year.
The overall new vehicle market is still very weak as the fall-out from the pandemic batters confidence and the broader economy, but at the market's upper end there are better signs outside of Victoria, which is still in tough lockdowns.
