Ex-CEO claims ‘stitch-up’ amid $1m expense probe

The ousted chief executive of Australia’s biggest smash repairer, AMA Group, says he has been subject to a “complete stitch-up” over scandalous million-dollar expense and bonus claims.
Andy Hopkins, faced with accusations of wrongly charging AMA for items that include painting his winery and purchasing cars, claimed the board denied him the chance to adequately respond to allegations before being threatened with sacking.
