Eagers Auto says outsiders accessed data from IT servers

Australia’s largest car dealership group, Eagers Automotive, says an investigation into a cybersecurity incident last week has found that a third party from outside the organisation gained unauthorised access to data from servers in its IT systems.
Eagers operates about 200 car dealer showrooms in Australia and New Zealand and is 27.6 per cent-owned by businessman Nick Politis.
