Cruising is no longer the domain of silver-haired retirees, as younger Aussies take to the seas in record numbers spurred by newer, hipper ships and more targeted offerings.

As operators like Richard Branson’s Virgin Voyages develop cruise concepts skewed to attracting younger demographics, data from the Cruise Lines International Association for Australasia showed passenger numbers have firmly surpassed pre-COVID levels.
