After a month of uncertainty, car parts manufacturer CMI Industrial has been officially placed into liquidation, with Victorian workers guaranteed employment until November.

After a month of uncertainty, car parts manufacturer CMI Industrial has been officially placed into liquidation, with Victorian workers guaranteed employment until November.

Victorian workers have met with creditors in Melbourne and have been made aware of the dire situation surrounding the company’s finances. It is up to $40 million in debt and owes up to $1.7 million to workers in superannuation.
