Brambles says growth to slow in 2023 as economies wobble

The chief executive of transport and logistics giant Brambles expects growth rates to slow in the first half of next year as cost-of-living pressures start to affect consumer behaviour.

But Graham Chipchase says revenues are likely to stay strong until at least the end of this year, with Brambles able to pass on in full the rising costs in timber, fuel, labour and transport to users of its pool of 360 million CHEP pallets, crates and containers.
