Brambles lifts guidance as pallet prices rise 14pc
Brambles upgraded its full-year profit forecasts as chief executive Graham Chipchase said the company’s size and scale enabled it to pass on inflationary coststo customers, pushing up pallet prices by 14 percent.
The logistics giant, which operates a pool of 340 million pallets, crates and containers in 60 countries that transport groceries and other consumer staples to retailers, lifted prices by more than $US416 million ($611 million) in the six months ended December 31.
