ARB jumps after buying Hoonigan’s 4 Wheel Parts

ARB Corporation, Australia’s largest manufacturer and retailer of 4WD parts and accessories, is expanding in the United States in a $US30 million ($45 million) deal which lifts its exposure to the growing ranks of off-road vehicle enthusiasts.

ARB’s 30 per cent-owned ORW business in the US is acquiring 42 retail stores trading under the 4 Wheel Parts banner. They are being sold by Hoonigan, owned by the private equity group Clearlake Capital.
