AP Eagers razor gang heads to WA in $2.3b deal
The chief executive of AP Eagers will hold meetings in Perth on Monday with some of the dealer principals of 41 car and truck outlets in Western Australia operated by rival Automotive Holdings Group as he eyes the first stage of $30 million in cost savings from a $2.3 billion merger.
AP Eagers boss Martin Ward and chief financial officer Sophie Moore are scheduled to meet AHG executives and dealer principals in person on September 16 as they take control of the Perth-based group which has been operating since 1952.
