Virgin Australia chief executive John Borghetti has compared the battle with Qantas over the domestic aviation market to a “nuclear war", and says the fallout will hurt the larger rival more.
“It is like a nuclear war, when someone starts cutting their lunch they throw everything they have got at it," Mr Borghetti said in an interview with AFR Weekend.
