Air New Zealand says cheaper fuel, more demand boosting bottom line

Air New Zealand says profits this financial year will be higher than expected, but warned bumper conditions for airlines will not last in the longer term.

The carrier told shareholders it now expects to earn more than $NZ580 million ($525 million) in the year ending June 30, compared with guidance in April indicating a range of between $NZ510 million and $NZ560 million.
