A spectacular $10m drone and light show opens over Uluru

As dusk settled over Uluru on Wednesday, an ancient Indigenous story reimagined as a $10 million nightly light and laser show staged in front of the rock launched to the world.
Featuring more than 1000 luminous drones choreographed to dance across the night sky, Wintjiri Wiru (“a beautiful view out to the horizon” in the local Anangu language) will run until February.
