Qantas better off than most airlines to deal with coronavirus: Joyce

Qantas has said the airline is better adapted to deal with pandemics now than it was during the 2003 SARS crisis, amid market concerns the coronavirus outbreak will smash the travel industry.
Speaking at the opening of a pilot academy in Toowoomba, Qantas chief executive Alan Joyce said it was too early to determine the full impact of the health crisis.
