With a fleet of 5700 campervans and motorhomes usually rented out to eager travellers and grey nomads across the United States, New Zealand Europe and Australia, border shutdowns to tackle coronavirus have hit Apollo Tourism & Leisure extremely hard.

A fleet of 900 Apollo motorhomes in New Zealand is largely stationary after New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern ordered a month-long nationwide lockdown from March 25, freezing one of the most popular destinations for campervan enthusiasts.
