Graham Kraehe is best known as the chairman of industrial powerhouses Brambles and BlueScope Steel , and as a board member of the Reserve Bank of Australia. But a little known secret is his roots in the vineyards of South Australia’s Barossa Valley.
The Kraehe family joined some of the now famous winemaking families, including the Seppelts and Henschkes, to settle in the Barossa during the wave of immigration from Europe in the 1840s.
