Telstra plans to mandate COVID-19 vaccinations for 8300 frontline staff in defiance of the Business Council of Australia’s stance that employers should only take this step with the backing of government health orders.

While the Telstra mandate will apply to technicians coming into contact with vulnerable people like Indigenous communities and aged care residents, the policy will also apply to workers at its retail stores. James Davies
