Superloop net loss halves as challenger brands take market share

Superloop boss Paul Tyler says internet broadband customers are ditching the big three telco companies faster than expected after the group’s interim net loss halved to $7.8 million.

“We’re definitely seeing an acceleration of the shift away from traditional brands,” Tyler told AFR Weekend, adding the so-called challenger brands – which include rival and spurned suitor Aussie Broadband – provide a better product at a cheaper price.
