Optus profit drops, downplays threat to NBN

Optus has played down the looming threat of 5G mobile networks to the National Broadband Network (NBN), and revealed a 9.3 per cent drop in profit for the September half.

Mr Lew said his company's 5G service would work well with the NBN for renters and others always on the move.
