NBN Co will finish plans on new ­products such as faster wireless broadband services by the end of 2014 to help bridge the $11.5 billion funding gap between the cost of building the national broadband network and ­government funding.

NBN Co head of product development John Simon said the company was in the final stages of modelling how much it could get in revenues from a range of new products, such as faster speeds on its wireless network and new satellite broadband offers.
