Aussie Broadband pays first dividend, cuts jobs

Aussie Broadband will pay its first dividend after it connected more customers to the internet, boosting annual net profit by 21 per cent – but it is cutting jobs to save money.
Managing director Phillip Britt told The Australian Financial Review the company needed to become more efficient after losing a wholesale contract supplying internet services to Origin Energy customers to rival Superloop.
