Amaysim shareholders back sale of mobile assets to Optus
Amaysim investors have backed the sale of the company's mobile business, which includes its 1.2 million subscribers, to Singtel-owned telco Optus for $250 million.
At an extraordinary general meeting on Thursday, more than 70 per cent of the shareholders voted for selling Amaysim's mobile assets, which include virtual mobile network operators (MVNOs) that resell network services provided by others under Amaysim's own brands – OVO, Vayna and Jeenee.
