Rugby Australia joins push to endorse Voice
Rugby Australia has publicly declared its support for the Voice to parliament, uniting with other major football codes, tennis and the Australian Olympics Committee in endorsing a change in the Constitution.
In a statement released by the Rugby Australia board that will appear in newspaper ads across the country, the sport said it believed a Yes vote in the referendum could do more for national pride than any sporting achievement. RA said the Constitution did not do enough to recognise Indigenous Australians.
