Push for crowd-free SCG Test grows

Less than 24 hours after Cricket Australia confirmed Sydney would host the third cricket Test between Australia and India, leading epidemiologists have warned against the game going ahead with fans in the stands at the SCG.

University of NSW epidemiologist Mary-Louise McLaws has recommended the NSW government bar audiences from attending the match, scheduled to begin on Thursday, January 7, or for fans to cancel their plans to attend.
