Rising Australian stars Min Woo Lee and Minjee Lee each fell short in a dramatic end to the Australian Open that dashed their hopes of a rare sibling double.

Chilean Joaquin Niemann claimed the men’s title in a play-off with Japan’s Rikuya Hoshino, while South African Ashleigh Buhai claimed back-to-back women’s titles after holding off the fast-finishing Minjee Lee with a three-foot putt at the 18th hole.
