Brisbane 2032 needs a chief executive with business acumen, diplomatic skills, political nous and the ability to get the community on board, according to Sandy Holloway, who ran the successful Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

“It’s got to be somebody who’s able to help set a vision for the event – what constitutes success to hold up a picture of what the Games will be like,” Mr Holloway told The Australian Financial Review.
