Rugby Australia is planning to appoint a former rugby league executive to its board of directors in a bid to give the embattled sport some fresh experience to help rebuild the game and change its fortunes.
Alexi Baker, a former National Rugby League and also Nine Entertainment executive, is one of two candidates to be put up for election at the company’s annual general meeting next month.
