Carlton captain Patrick Cripps bullocked his way to a second Brownlow Medal with a record-smashing tally of votes from umpires as the best and fairest player in the AFL this season.

The big-bodied midfielder outscored Collingwood wunderkind Nick Daicos, 21, who also blew past the record for the number of votes tallied in just his third season.
