Some regrets as Rinker board resigns

Departing Rinker Group chairman John Morschel yesterday called on investors to pay more attention to long-term value after handing control of the building materials company's board to Cemex.

"I think if anything, it's a lesson to shareholders that they have to participate more actively in the stock value," Mr Morschel told The Australian Financial Review.
