Schaffer Corp has assured shareholders it will match its ordinary dividend in 2005 despite warning that difficult trading conditions are likely to continue, particularly in the first half.

The Perth leather and building products company posted a net profit of $16.6 million for the year to June 30, slightly below the $17 million profit the previous year.
