'Off a cliff': Wesfarmers boss urges growth stimulus

Wesfarmers chief executive Rob Scott has called for more stimulus to support the retail sector amid growing fears sales will fall off a cliff when JobKeeper unwinds in September.
While retail sales rebounded 16 per cent in May as shops reopened after lockdown, the sector is not out of the woods and facing an uncertain future when job subsidies and superannuation withdrawals come to an end.
