Retailers Universal Store and Dusk will hand back almost $6 million in JobKeeper subsidies after reporting bumper first-half profits as consumers redirected expenditure on travel and eating out to fashion and homewares.
The pair join a growing list of companies that have handed back wage subsidies, including Domino’s, Nick Scali, Adairs, Toyota Australia, Healius, CIMIC and Cochlear.
