SurfStitch suitor threatens to walk if creditors meeting is postponed

Alceon Group, the owner of online retailer EziBuy, threatened to walk away from its rescue offer for SurfStitch Group if administrators postponed a stakeholder meeting to decide the surf and skate wear company's future.

SurfStitch's administrators – John Park, Quentin Olde and Joseph Hansell of FTI Consulting – have defended their decision to press ahead with the meeting in Sydney on April 4 despite last-minute changes to a rival rescue plan.
