Solomon Lew joins in higher ride at Globe International
Retailing and property billionaire Solomon Lew is among shareholders benefiting from a lift in dividends at skateboards and streetwear company Globe International in which he's held a 5.9 per cent stake for 13 years.
Mr Lew's quaintly-named corporate vehicle Poly Town Pty Ltd is the fourth largest shareholder at Globe, which on Tuesday revealed that bottomline profits had risen by 7.2 per cent to $5.1 million for 2016-17. This was despite some tough times in the skateboard hardgoods market in the northern hemisphere.
