Solomon Lew along for ride as Globe buys 50 per cent of Salty Crew

ASX-listed skateboard and streetwear company Globe International is hoping a newly acquired 50 per cent stake in American surfing and nautical apparel brand Salty Crew will give it extra impetus in a tough US market.

Retailing billionaire Solomon Lew is along for the ride as the fourth-largest shareholder in Globe, behind the three Hill brothers who own a combined 69 per cent. Mr Lew has held a 5.9 per cent stake for more than 13 years in Globe, through the corporate entity Poly Town Pty Ltd.
