Beacon Lighting turns to trade, online to counter lockdowns

After a bumper 2021 result underpinned by the renovation boom, Beacon Lighting will shift focus this year to its trade, overseas and online businesses to offset the lack of foot traffic in stores during lockdowns.
The family-controlled retailer has been forced to close about half its 115 stores under stage 4 lockdown rules, forcing retail customers to shop online for lighting, fans and globes.
