It is a lamentable feature of Australia’s current political scene that the leaders of all parties apparently see it in the interests of their electoral prospects to criticise big companies.

They should, instead, be celebrating the success of companies that have done well and acknowledge the enormous contributions these companies make to the Australian economy and society.
