Jack Cowin has enjoyed a big year for some of his investments, both on the ASX and in the private sector.

Cowin has shares in investment bank Moelis Australia, which floated on the ASX in April. Moelis has proven to be one of the better recent floats, with its shares rising a stellar 180 per cent.
