Harris Scarfe creditors in the red despite Spotlight deal

Unsecured creditors of department store chain Harris Scarfe are facing major losses despite a $50 million rescue proposal from the Spotlight Group.
According to a report to creditors, unsecured creditors who are owed between $146 million and $236 million will receive between 1.3¢ and 20.5¢ in the dollar under a proposed deed of company arrangement.
