The former boss of Bellamy's Australia has an uphill battle in trying to turn around the fortunes of the Paris Creek Farms organic milk and yoghurt business that sits alongside the improving Maggie Beer Products operations at ASX-listed Longtable Group.

Almost two years into her stint running Longtable, Laura McBain, the ex-chief executive of high-flying infant formula group Bellamy's Australia, is relying on $2 million of cost-cutting to try to lift the fortunes of Paris Creek this year.
