Fast brings single-click and headless checkout to Australia

Australian shoppers will soon be able to purchase with a single click directly from an email, online advertisement, blog or fashion site using Fast, a universal checkout system.

Co-founded by Australian-born tech entrepreneur Domm Holland and former Uber operations executive Allison Barr Allen, San Francisco-based Fast is setting up shop in Australia and is in talks with local retailers after raising $US125 million ($161.6 million) from investors including online payments giant Stripe, Lee Fixel’s Addition, PopSugar founder Brian Sugar’s Sugar Capital, Silicon Valley’s Index Ventures and Afterpay co-founder Nick Molnar.
