Endeavour mulls an executive chairman as CEO search drags on

Endeavour, the operator of Dan Murphy’s and hundreds of pubs, is considering appointing chairman Ari Mervis to replace outgoing chief executive Steve Donohue as the search for a permanent successor drags on.

That would make Mr Mervis, who has only been on the board since early this year, Endeavour’s executive chairman, according to three people with knowledge of the company’s deliberations in replacing Mr Donohue.
