Carl’s Jr local brand holder calls in KPMG

The parent of US burger chain Carl’s Jr is holding talks about directly licensing its brand to the 25 burger shops still trading in Australia, after the local master licensee and 24 restaurants entered voluntary administration.

CJ’s QSR Group, which is the corporate entity that rules Carl’s Jr’s brand in Australia, appointed KPMG as voluntary administrators on Monday.
