Bernie Brookes' Funtastic poised for acquisition

Troubled toy wholesaler Funtastic, now headed by former Myer chief Bernie Brookes, appears poised to merge with family-owned toy retailer Hobby Warehouse.
Shares in Funtastic went into a trading halt on Thursday as the wholesaler finalised the acquisition, which was flagged in the company's full-year results.
