Baby Bunting chief executive Matt Spencer says the latest wave of omicron is having a moderate impact across its stores as customers – particularly pregnant women – choose to shop less and only for essential items.

In January, the retailer experienced a spike in absenteeism in its distribution centre and at some stores following the omicron hit.
